Memories from a distant past

When I get leave my office, I generally just lock the screen and walk away.

I've been out of the office for a few weeks now, returning just an hour ago. Upon sitting down and unlocking the screen, I am of course faced with the same open browser tabs and the same terminal windows in the same working directories as when I left.

It's an interestingly good help in getting back into "the zone" again. And not just any zone, but the same zone. Having my working contexts intact and the browsing and command histories readily available let's me see just what the hell I was up to.

I was obviously up to mostly no good when I left. Maybe I should log out and try again.
