Wheel out some tabs
As of Firefox 2.0, all tabs have a little close button, so you no longer have to switch to a tab in order to close it. Good.
Unless you have a lot of tabs open, in which case the close button disappears on all but the active tab. Bad.
Clicking on a tab with your middle mouse button (your scroll wheel, usually), however, closes it anyway. Good!
