What the hell is wrong with the people who tune the coffee machine settings?

I need to go twice on the "large" and once on "small" to get a decently filled mug from the machine at work. That's seriously broken. Plus it takes forever. And that's not good on Mondays.

(Yes, I know it's Tuesday. But trust me, it's also Monday.)
